Happy 2019, my friends! 2018 was the year that I fell back in love with reading – and read, I did – approximately 22 books this past year. I know this isn’t an astronomical number, but I’m proud of it because a) it beats the ~4 books I’ve averaged for the past several years and b) all but one were read in the second half of the year. While many of the books I read in 2018 are reviewed on this blog, I wanted to give you an at-a-glance . I’ve organized them from my favorite to least favorite.

Now, without further ado, my 2018 book year in review…

Harry Potter and John Green are amazing! I’d recommend almost any of Green’s books, also All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven is a bit depressing but really good if you liked John Green. The Fire & Flood series by Victoria Scott is probably my favorite but it’s an unfinished series that probably won’t have a third book which is a bit depressing. Happy reading! 😊

I’ve read all of Green’s books – which I’ve enjoyed – besides Paper Towns. I’ll add that and All the Bright Places to my list! That’s so sad The Fire & Flood series may not have an ending, that’s got to be so unsatisfying. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Definitely recommend One Day in December by Josie Silver! Very cute and easy to read modern romance. I read it in two days and I normally don’t get hooked to romance novels that easily!
