Heike Faller’s Hundred is a heartfelt, perfectly gift-able book about the passage of time and what we learn as we grow and age.
Many thanks to Celadon Books for gifting me this free book!
Beautifully illustrated, succinct, and full of wisdom, Hundred is a lovely little book that embodies the conflicting feelings of growing older – the comfort that comes with being wiser and more stable and the fear that comes with new stages of life and the unknown.
This book is equal parts lovely illustrations and simple words. Its simplicity allows for readers to pull from their own memories and life experiences while travelling through the years, which I think is so lovely. Each stage of life is marked by universality, however, and anyone can relate.
Hundred is a darling and touching book that I see being the perfect gift for any occasion – weddings, baby showers, retirements and beyond. It will tug at your heartstrings and remind you that there is unique value and excitement in each stage of life.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my thoughts on Hundred. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the book in the comments or at my Instagram, @bookmarkedbya!
